Billy Gilman To Perform At Special Olympics

The event is June 1, but tickets go on sale April 17.

From Special Olympics Rhode Island: Special Olympics Rhode Island, Ryan Center and Spectra Venue Management are pleased to announce that Rhode Island’s very own Billy Gilman, will be performing at this year’s 50th Anniversary Special Olympics Opening Ceremony. This year the ceremony will be held at the Ryan Center on the campus of The University of Rhode Island, Friday, June 1, 2018. A limited amount of General Public Tickets is set to go on sale for the general public on Tuesday, April 17, 2018.

Gilman burst onto the national stage in 2000 releasing the hit single “One Voice.” His debut album was certified double platinum in the United States, and he was included in the Guinness Book of World Records for being the youngest singer to ever reach #1 on the Billboard Top Country Album charts. He has sold five million albums worldwide and garnered awards and nods from the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, Billboard Magazine, and the American Music Association

Tickets to see Billy Gilman at the Ryan Center start at $33 for the general public.
