BlumShapiro Volunteers Help Clean Up Narragansett Beaches
Save the Bay's "International Coastal Cleanup" a success!

Providence, RI – Oct. 6, 2014: BlumShaprio sent a team to participate in the Rhode Island International Coastal Cleanup on Sept. 20.
More than a dozen employees joined at Salty Brine Beach and Sandy Hill Cove Beach in Narragansett to help remove trash from the shores.
The International Coastal Cleanup, coordinated by Save The Bay, is an event where volunteers all over the world remove trash from shores and record their findings. The data is organized and published in an annual report on marine debris by the Ocean Conservancy.

More than 2000 volunteers participle in the Rhode Island International Coastal Cleanup at more than 80 sites. Volunteers remove about 20,000 pounds in trash and debris.
