Cranston Woman Charged With DUI
Katherine L. Lombardi, 22, of 40 Sagamore Road, Cranston, was arrested at about 1:31 a.m. on April 26 and charged with drunken driving.

According to police, an officer driving behind a silver Honda Civic on Point Judith Road near Sunset Farm observed it swerving and drifting in the roadway. As a result, a traffic stop was made near Old Point Judith Road.
Police said that while speaking with the driver – Lombardi – she smelled overwhelming of perfume, suggesting to the officer that she was attempting to mask another smell. Police said Lombardi’s eyes were bloodshot and watery.

According to police, Lombardi consented to field sobriety tests, which she failed. Police said Lombardi consented to chemical breath tests at headquarters, which revealed blood alcohol levels of 0.144 at 2:27 a.m. and 0.147 at 2:29 a.m.
Police said Lombardi was processed and then released at about 3:55 a.m. They also noted that because this was Lombardi’s third moving violation within 12 months, a traffic court hearing was also scheduled for her.
