NARRAGANSETT-SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Frigid temperatures are in the forecast in Rhode Island, with feel-like temperatures expected to fall below zero. Communities across the state have designated warming centers aimed at helping residents stay warm.

Because of social distancing requirements required by the coronavirus pandemic, it's a good idea to call ahead before visiting a warming shelter. Anyone in need of assistance can also call 211 for resources.
