Charlestown's General Stanton Flea Market, turns 55 years old this Season, making it the oldest, continually-running Flea Market in R.I..

55 ADDITIONAL ANTIQUES, CRAFTS, COLLECTIBLES
FARMERS' MARKET AND SMALL BATCH FOOD VENDORS SOUGHT TO CELEBRATE THE GENERAL STANTON INN FLEA MARKET's 55th ANNIVERSARY IN CHARLESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND

Charlestown, Rhode Island's General Stanton Inn Flea Market, is seeking 55 additional antiques, crafts, collectibles, Farmers' Market, and small batch food vendors, to celebrate its' 55th Anniversary Season. It is the oldest, continually-running Flea Market in Rhode Island.

This outdoor, weekend Flea Market, is set on the tree-lined, sea-breezed grounds of the historic General Stanton Inn (est. 1667), 4115 Old Post Road, in the coastal town of Charlestown. By virtue of its' location, The General Stanton Inn's antiques, crafts and collectibles Flea Market, is especially known for its' nautical antiques.

The General Stanton Inn Flea Market, opened its' 2020 Season June 7 and was open Sundays only, throughout the month. Starting July 4, The Flea Market doubled its' days, opening Saturdays, as well as Sundays, until the 2020 Season ends Columbus Day Weekend. Hours both weekend days are 8 a.m.-3 p.m..

New vendors at the General Stanton Inn Flea Market this Season, can call to make advance space reservations, or simply show up by 7 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays to set up.
10' x 20' spaces are available for $25.-$35., depending on location (tarped and non-tarped spaces are available.) Vendors may also bring their own pop-up tents and are required to bring their own table/s and chairs. All items being sold must be clean and clearly priced.

Non-profit organizations are invited, as in past years, to set up information and fundraising sales booths, at no cost, through the end of The General Stanton Inn Flea Market's Season. There is no limit on the number of times that any particular non-profit can set up at the Flea Market.

In addition to several new antiques, crafts and collectibles vendors already answering the 55th Anniversary quest at the Flea Market, the "Fry Guy" food and beverage truck, will be on site this weekend, serving breakfast, lunch and snack items to visitors and vendors. Charlestown's "Cupcakory"will be parked at The Flea Market, Sunday, selling its' sweet treats.

For the protection of both visitors and vendors at The General Stanton Inn Flea Market, face masks are required to be worn by all. Social Distancing will add additional protection throughout the Flea Market.

Overnight accommodations are available at the historic General Stanton Inn, throughout the Summer and Fall seasons.
