HealthSourceRI Drop-In Discussions Today at Peace Dale Library (and 4 More Things)

    HealthSourceRI Discussion: From 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. today, Dec. 5, the Peace Dale Library, located at 1057 Kingstown Road, Peace Dale, will host an afternoon of drop-in discussions regarding new health care choices. Representatives from HealthSourceRI, Rhode Island’s health insurance exchange, will be available for one-on-one help finding information and signing up for health insurance. No registration necessary.

    Free Vaccination Clinic: This evening from 5-8 p.m., the Town of South Kingstown in partnership with the Rhode Island Department of Health (HEALTH), will host a free immunization. The clinic will be held in the Broad Rock Middle School gymnasium, located at 351 Broad Rock Rd., Wakefield. Insurance is not required for vaccinations, though people with coverage are asked to bring their insurance cards. Click here for complete details. 

    URI Holiday Mini Mall: Today from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. more than 35 specialty retailers will be present in the URI Memorial Union Ballroom to help you get your holiday shopping started. Vendors include sterling silver and designer jewelry, wool scarves and sweaters, Denali Clothing, fine cooking herbs and oils, gourmet gift baskets, Avon and more. Click here for a complete list of Mini Mall retailers.
