Hurricane Chris Expected To Churn Up Water By RI Beaches
Although Chris has headed out to sea, a hurricane could create rip tides and other hazards for swimmers, the National Weather Service says.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Hurricane Chris is headed out to sea but could still create rip tides and other hazards for swimmers, the National Weather Service says. For Rhode Island, big waves and rip currents are a danger on Wednesday and Thursday. The south-facing beaches are most likely to see the impact.
