LETTER: Trager Wants Your Vote Tomorrow
Bob Trager speaks of his experience going door to door in his potential district, and asks for your vote.

I’ve been walking neighborhoods in Narragansett and South Kingstown for four months now. I’ve met and spoke with many of you. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for being friendly at your front doors.
I know that having a politician at your door doesn’t rank very highly with most of you; it doesn’t with me either. I feel as though I’ve learned a lot through many of the brief, and some not so brief, conversations that I’ve had with many of you.
After listening to so many of you, I hope that as your representative, I’ll be able to judge what is important to our communities, and then act upon it. I have no magic answers. I can only promise that I will work hard to see that our government works for us and not the other way around.

To those of you that I have not met, I offer my apologies for not making it to every household in the district. I came close. As a Republican candidate, I know that I’m fighting an uphill battle with some of you. But let me leave you with a quote from John F. Kennedy.
“Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future.”

I hope that everyone gets out on Election Day, and I respectfully ask for your vote.
Bob Trager, Candidate for House District 33
