West Warwick Man Arrested for Warrant, Charged With Disorderly Conduct

Shane J. Creamer, 20, of 88 ½ Church St., Apt. #24, West Warwick, was arrested at about 1:40 a.m. on Nov. 11 and charged with disorderly conduct. Police said a Third Division District Court was also out for his arrest for failing to appear at a hearing related to a Coventry police charge of possession of alcohol by a minor.

According to police, they received a report of a loud party on Foddering Farm Road. Police said that when they arrived in the area, they saw Creamer, shirtless, yelling at a group of seven to eight other men.

Police said Creamer was heavily intoxicated, and kept yelling threats at a man in a United States Marine Corps t-shirt. Police said a background check revealed the warrant, at which point Creamer was arrested.

According to police, interviews with people at the party revealed that Creamer had been asked to leave several times but refused to, before finally being led outside and restrained until police arrived. As a result, a charge of disorderly conduct was added.

Police noted that during processing, Creamer kept yelling, “I have a lawyer that will put you six feet under.” He was processed and then transported to the ACI at about 9:45 a.m. because of the warrant.

URI Student Cited for Alcohol

Joshua H. Powers, 18, of 3 Farm House Road, Kingston, was cited at about 2:02 a.m. on Nov. 11 and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor. Police said Powers is a student at the University of Rhode Island.

According to police, an officer driving on Ocean Road near the Narragansett Grill saw Powers drinking from a bottle of Four Loko malted lemonade. A background check confirmed Powers was not 21, and he was cited or the alcohol.
