Narragansett School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Narragansett is September 5. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Narragansett School System has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 1/1: No School (Christmas Recess)
• 1/15: No School (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)

February

• 2/19 - 2/23: No School (Winter Recess)

March

• 3/12: No School for Students (Professional Day)
• 3/30: No School (Good Friday)

April

• 4/16 - 4/20: No School (Spring Recess)

May

• 5/28: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/14: Seniors' Graduation
• 6/18: Tentative Last Day of School
• 6/19 - 6/25: Make-up Days (if needed)
