Narragansett-South Kingstown Weekend Weather: Rain Expected

Temperatures could climb as high as 75 degrees in the Providence metro area on Saturday.

NARRAGANSETT-SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A warm weekend is ahead for Rhode Islanders in Narragansett and South Kingstown, but spring days won't come without the chance of rain.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will bring with it a slight chance of showers and storms in the afternoon with increasing clouds throughout the afternoon and evening.

Skies will clear out overnight on Friday as temperatures dip to an expected low of 50 degrees.

A chance of showers returns early in the afternoon Saturday, mostly between noon and 3 p.m., the NWS predicts. Calm winds and party cloudy skies will prevail in the evening.

Sunday brings with it a 50 percent chance of showers and a high near 72 degrees.

By Monday, skies will clear and the sun will prevail, the NWS predicts. Temperatures will reach a high of 73 degrees.
