Narragansett Steps Up Parking Enforcement

All "no parking" zones will now be tow-away zones.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — Narragansett is stepping up parking enforcement on town streets. Effective immediately, all "no parking" zones are now tow-away zones.

The decision came following Gov. Gina Raimondo's announcement that parking will be reduced to 25 percent capacity at Scarborough and Misquamicut beaches in an effort to reduce crowding.

The order will remain in place until further notice, and violators will be fined $75, as well as towed. Parking is also banned on the north side of Ocean Road from Pilgrim Avenue to Rose Nulman Park.
