According to police, a traffic stop was made near Wood Avenue. Police said that when asked about her driving, Munson told them, “I was only going 45.”
Police said Munson’s eyelids were droopy, her pupils were constricted, and she smelled lightly of alcohol. As a result, they asked Munson to consent to field sobriety tests, which police said she failed. At this point, she was arrested.
According to police, an inventory of Munson’s van revealed a small baggie of marijuana and a bottle of Smirnoff Vodka that was three-quarters empty. Police also noted that a cup in the van’s cup holder had a liquid that field tested positive for alcohol.
Police said that Munson refused to submit to chemical breath tests. Police noted that from about 12:47 a.m. to 1:24 a.m., and 4:10 a.m. to 5:18 a.m., Munson was treated at South County Hospital after complaining of health issues.
