Obituary: Clement (Ken) A. DeLucia, 79

Clement (Ken) A. DeLucia, 79 of Wakefield passed peacefully at Hope, Hospice, and Palliative Care in Providence on March 24, 2016.

Clement (Ken) A. DeLucia, 79 of Wakefield passed peacefully at Hope, Hospice, and Palliative Care in Providence on March 24, 2016 after suffering a stroke several days prior.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Clement Armand and Adeline (Jacolucci) DeLucia. Ken worked as a Research Technologist in the Psychology Department at Brown University for forty-five years, until his retirement in 2000. He enjoyed sailing and maintaining his property in Jamestown prior to moving to South Kingstown in 2007 to be closer to his daughter and grandchildren. He served on the Planning Board in Jamestown for several years, a period of which he was President.

He is survived by his wife Lenore (Lee) (D'Onofrio), his daughter Karen Pinch and husband Steve, and grandchildren Ryan Daniel and Emily Elizabeth Pinch of Wakefield. He also leaves a brother, Norman DeLucia of Little Compton, and his wife Dolores; and two nieces, Cheryl and Denise.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 9:45am from the FAGAN-QUINN Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Christ the King Church, 180 Old North Road, Kingston. Private burial will take place at a later date. Visiting hours Monday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Rhode Island College Foundation, DeLucia Family Fund, 600 Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Providence, RI 02908 will be appreciated.
