Obituary: Mary L. Christoph, 95, Enjoyed Reading, Gardening, Birds

Mary L. Christoph, 95, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, August 5th. She was the wife of the late Frank Christoph.

Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Louise (Peloquin) Marceau. She was a graduate of Tolman High School in Pawtucket. She enjoyed gardening, reading, birds, antiquing, and going to yard sales.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Phillips of Tampa, Florida, Suzanne Rose of Narragansett, and Christine Verecchia of Narragansett; a son, Edwin J. Carty, Jr. of Providence; 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and many great-great grandchildren.

A committal service will be held at 12:30 pm, Wednesday August 10th at the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02906.
