Obituary: Santella M. Ford, 89, New England Telephone Co. Supervisor

Santella M. Ford (Masiello), 89, of Narragansett, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016. She was the wife of the late Fred M. Ford, Sr. Born in Narragansett, the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Santella (Guarino) Masiello. Mrs. Ford was a supervisor for New England Telephone Co. for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Pioneers and was an avid bocce player, card player, and Bingo Player.

She is survived by her children, Sandra L. Turbitt of West Warwick and Fred M. Ford, Jr. and his wife Jane L. Almy of East Greenwich; three grandchildren, Fred M. Ford, III, Jason J. and Heather M. Turbitt; two great-grandchildren, Dean J. Turbitt and Micha O. Dougherty and a sister, Anna Deblois of North Providence.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at 10 am in St. Thomas More Church, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett. Burial will be private.
