Open House Saturday At 'This Old House'

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI—Fans of the PBS series, 'This Old House,' can tour one of the upcoming season's featured homes at an Open House party on Saturday. The party is at The Beach House at East Matunuck. The property, one of the show's 'idea houses,' will be featured during the 2017-2018 television season. Located in Snug Harbor, it has a wraparound porch, a screened in porch, and a mud room with a dog-washing station. A shingle-style house with a gambrel roof, it was designed with help from some familiar local names, including Sweenor Builders, Union Studio Architecture & Community Design and Denise Enright Interior Design. It's being described as a 'one-of-a-kind' house. The tours start at 11 a.m., Aug. 5.
