Outdoor Watering Bans In Narragansett & SK

Narragansett and South Kingstown have imposed outdoor watering bans. Residents with even-number addresses can water on the even days.

Narragansett and South Kingstown have imposed outdoor watering bans. Residents with even-number addresses can water on the even days of the month. Residents with odd-numbered addresses can water on the odd-numbered days.

The ban, which will stay in effect through Aug. 31, applies to the Town of Narragansett water system customers; the Town of South Kingstown (South Shore and Middlebridge) water system customers; and United Water's Rhode Island water system customers.

The Kingstown Water District customers are not affected.

The ban is to insure customers have adequate water supply. People are asked to conserve. According to Narragansett's town website, conservation kits are free. For information, contact the Town at 782-0639.
