Police said that based on interviews, the group was believed to have come from a party at 3 Roxbury Avenue. Police said about 50 people remained at the party, with vehicles illegally parked on the sides of surrounding streets.

According to police, the renters – Joshua H. Fontaine, 21, and Christopher J. Josephine, 20 – were highly intoxicated. Police said the party dispersed quickly upon their arrival, and the tenants signed the town noise ordinance form.
