Providence VA Holding Coronavirus Vaccine Clinic At URI

The clinic will be open to veterans of all ages, offering the two-dose Pfizer vaccine.

KINGSTON, RI — Veterans of all ages can get a COVID-19 vaccine at the University of Rhode Island this weekend. The clinic will be held on the Kingston campus from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The drive-through clinic, sponsored by the Providence VA, will be held at 25 West Independence Way. Attendees will not have to leave their vehicle to get vaccinated.

Vaccine doses will be given on a first-come, first served basis. Anyone who is not already enrolled in VA health care will need to bring the following:

  • A copy of your DD214
  • A filled out 1010EZ form (available from VA.gov)
  • A photo ID

The two-dose Pfizer vaccine will be distributed. The second dose will be available at a clinic at the same location on April 17.
