RI State Beaches To Open Saturday
It might be a little cool at Scarborough, but the beaches will be open daily, starting Saturday.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — The state beaches open on Saturday, May 27. Lifeguards are on duty from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at all locations. The beaches will be open daily, weather permitting.
The state beaches are:

Daily beach parking for residents is $6/weekdays and $7/weekends and holidays. Seniors catch a break, with rates set for residents at $3 weekdays and $3.50 weekends and holidays. Non-resident parking is $12/weekdays and $14/weekends and holidays. But seniors get in for $6 and $7. A season pass is $30 for residents ($15 for senior residents) and $60 for non-residents ($30 for seniors) and can be purchased on weekends at Scarborough North, Roger Wheeler and Misquamicut State Beaches. From May 28 through September 5, passes are available for purchase at all state beaches.
Fees are based solely on the vehicle registration (i.e. license plate) of each vehicle entering beach facilities. All Rhode Island-registered vehicles will be subject to resident parking rates; non-Rhode Island plates will be subject to non-resident rates. By law, a “vehicle” is defined as any street-legal equipment, motorized or non-motorized, properly registered for over-the-road travel.
