If you're not yet registered, you have just a couple of days left to submit the paperwork. The deadline is also soon to vote by mail.

PROVIDENCE, RI — With the Primary election set for Sept. 12, the deadlines are fast approaching for people to register to vote and to apply for a mail ballot if they can't make it to the polls in person.
“In order to be a voter, you need to be prepared," Secretary of State Nellie M. Gorbea said. "This means making sure your voter registration is up to date and you understand your options for casting a ballot if you can’t make it to the polls on September 12 to vote in the primaries.”
