RI Weather: MA Snowmaker Bringing Much-Needed Rain To Ocean State
Most of the state will see an inch to an inch and a half of rain over the next two days.

PROVIDENCE, RI — Rain is on the way in Rhode Island for the next two days, part of a storm system that could bring as much as half a foot of snow to parts of Massachusetts.
The rain is expected to arrive in the afternoon, picking up overnight and throughout the day Friday. Much of the state will see about an inch or an inch and a half of total rain accumulation.
Although the "chilly, soaking rain" won't be pleasant for most residents, it's much-needed in Rhode Island. Weeks of dry weather led to the return of drought conditions in the state.
