RI Weather: Rain In Forecast For Saturday Night

NARRAGANSETT, RI — A coastal storm this weekend could bring rain Saturday night and part of Sunday. According to the National Weather Service, the rest of the week will bring at least a chance of showers, with the biggest chances at the end of the week. Here is the forecast.

Increasing clouds, with a high near 73. East wind 7 to 11 mph.

Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Patchy fog after 10pm. Low around 67. East wind around 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday
Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 10am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10am. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Patchy fog before noon. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a high near 76. South wind around 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm between 2am and 3am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3am. Patchy fog before 9pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 72. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Showers likely, mainly between 7am and 3pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Chance of precipitation is 70%.
