RI's Top Colleges Are Brown, URI & RIC: Wallet Hub

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI—A new list of the nation's best colleges and universities from Wallet Hub, the personal finance website, says Brown, URI & RIC are tops in Rhode Island. And although none of the local schools made the top 10 in the nation, Brown did crack the top 15. It was ranked 13th overall.

According to the methodology, Wallet Hub considered a number of factors about each school, including costs, admissions, graduation rates, career success, and faculty resources. The site also compiled separate lists for universities and colleges. According to the report, the top school is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
