River Street in South Kingstown Closing For Road Work

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The South Kingstown Police Department announced Tuesday that River Street will be closing to traffic for approximately one month as crews replace a water main. Local traffic will be allowed down the street to access homes. Construction will begin on May 27.

Construction will primarily take place between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes as traffic delays are expected in the area. The project is expected to be completed in approximately one month.
