Severe Thunderstorms in the Area
Damaging winds, frequent lightening and possibly hail could hit Narragansett and South Kingstown today into tonight.
The National Weather Service is warning of severe thunderstorms in the area throughout the day with frequent lightening, potentially damaging winds and even hail possible.
Storms have already begun to hit the southern part of Rhode Island this morning and are possible in Narragansett and South Kingstown throughout the day, sometimes bringing heavy downpours along with the thunder and lightening.
