SK Police Investigating Death of 32-Year-Old

An autopsy has been ordered following the sudden death of a 32-year-old man on Winter Street on April 29. South Kingstown police logs from April 29, 2013.

Peacedale Man Arrested for Warrant

Marshall S. Rounseville, 34, of 72 Samuel Rodman St., Peacedale, was arrested at about 11:39 p.m. on April 29. Police said a Fourth Division District Court warrant was out for Rounseville’s arrest.

According to police, they received a report of a disturbance outside of a home on Middlebridge Road. Police said that when they ran background checks on the people at the home, Rounseville’s warrant was revealed.

Police said Rounseville was arrested without incident. He was held for arraignment at 9 a.m.

Death of 32-Year-Old Under Investigation

At about 7:51 p.m. on April 29, police received a report of the sudden death of a 32-year-old man on Winter Street.

According to police, based on interviews the last time anyone had seen the man alive was at about 3 a.m. While he was believed to be depressed and taking anxiety medication, police said there were no signs of a suicide attempt.

Police said that several family members told them that the man had been complaining of severe headaches lately, and they were waiting for blood work to come back.

Because of the man’s age and the nature of his death, police said the medical examiner was notified and an autopsy was ordered. Foul play is not suspected.
