According to police, an officer noted a car driven by Lindvall swerving on Kersey Road near North Road, and alternating speeds from 20 miles per hour to 35. A traffic stop was made in the 1700-section of Kingstown Road.
Police said that Lindvall had trouble finding a valid registration certificate, and refused to answer on three separate occasions as to whether she had been drinking.

According to police, while attempting to speak with Lindvall and process her information, her car rolled backwards because it was not in park. When police told her to put the car in park and then to step out of it, she allegedly told them, “This is ridiculous, I’m a 60-year-old woman, I had a few drinks, big deal.”
Police said Lindvall was uncooperative during field sobriety tests, claiming, “I know how all these tests work, I’ve seen them on TV.” Police said Lindvall told them, “You’re treating me like a child, this is ridiculous.”
According to police, Lindvall failed field sobriety tests, at which point she was arrested. Police said Lindvall refused to submit to a chemical test, and was then processed and released at about 3:09 a.m.
