Student Charged With Possession at SKHS
A student is charged with possession of marijuana at the high school. South Kingstown police logs from February 26 and 27, 2013.

SKHS Student Charged With Possession at School
Joshua Landry, 19, of 2445 Post Road, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 11:45 a.m. on Feb. 26 and charged with possession of marijuana.

According to police, school officials received reports of a marijuana smell coming from the bathroom on the first floor of the Hazard Building. Police said that school officials looked at students who were out of classes at the time, and determined that Landry was likely the one in the bathroom.
Police said that school officials searched Landry’s backpack, which revealed marijuana in a plastic coffee mug under a paper towel. As a result, police said Landry was arrested without incident.

According to police, Landry was processed at headquarters and then released at about 1:25 p.m.
South Kingstown Man Charged With Disorderly Conduct
Kenneth E. Wilson, 42, of 117 Dam St., South Kingstown, was arrested at about 2:06 a.m. on Feb. 27 and charged with disorderly conduct.
According to police, they received multiple complaints about Wilson starting arguments with tenants at an apartment complex on Curtis Corner Road. Police said the complaining witnesses didn’t want Wilson arrested, but just warned for his behavior, and for him to not return that morning.
Police said they saw Wilson walking near the apartment building on Curtis Corner Road, and told him he wasn’t welcome back there. He allegedly told police he understood and that he wouldn’t go there.
However, police said that shortly thereafter, they found him at the apartment building again, banging on several doors. He was again told to leave the apartment complex, which police said he did.
Police said they were again called to the building about Wilson’s behavior, at which point he was arrested. Police said that based on Wilson’s unruly behavior, he was held for arraignment at Fourth Division District Court at 9 a.m.
