South Kingstown police make arrests for stolen beer from Fat Belly's and stolen socks from Feet First.

South Kingstown Man Charged With Stealing Beer from Fat Belly’s…

David G. Stoll, 44, of 115 MacArthur Boulevard, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 11:42 a.m. on Jan. 17 and charged with larceny.

According to police, they received a complaint of Stoll taking a six-pack of Budweiser from Fat Belly’s in Wakefield the previous night. Police said they spoke to Stoll outside of CVS and he confessed to taking the beer, at which point he was arrested.

Police said Stoll was transported to Fourth Division District Court at 1:15 p.m. for arraignment.

… And Cranston Man Charged With Stealing Socks from Feet First

Steven Morro, 30, of 132 Third Ave., Cranston, was arrested at about 11:09 p.m. on Jan. 17 and charged with larceny.

According to police, they received a complaint of Morro stealing socks and other items from Feet First in South Kingstown. Police said that a warrant was issued for Morro’s arrest, and as a result, he turned himself in on Jan. 17 and confessed to taking the items in October 2012.

Morro was processed at headquarters and then released at about 11:30 p.m. According to police, he is accused of taking six pairs of socks, shoe insoles and a pair of New Balance sneakers.
