South Kingstown Hosting Trunk Or Treat
The event, sponsored by the town's fire department, will be held on Halloween from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The South Kingstown Fire Department is hosting a drive-through trunk-or-treat event on Halloween. Families are invited to attend from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the South Kingstown Safety Complex at 1790 Kingstown Road.
Attendees will collect treats from decorated vehicle trunks, and accommodations will be made for children with allergies. Special needs children can look for specially marked teal pumpkins.
Markers will be in place to ensure social distancing between families, and all attendees will be required to wear a proper face covering. Costumes are encouraged, but a Halloween mask is not an appropriate substitute for a fabric face covering.

"This Halloween will look a lot different for everyone, but we encourage all children and their families to come by the South Kingstown Safety Complex this Halloween to get some treats and see what other costumes people have come up with this year," Chief Steven Pinch said. "As always, the Union Fire District wishes everyone a safe, healthy and happy Halloween."
