South Kingstown July 4 Fireworks & More: 2018 Guide
Here's what you need to know about the Fourth of July fireworks in South Kingstown.

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The weather is predicted to be nothing short of sizzling in Rhode Island. But by dusk, the air should be pleasant for a trip outside. Rhode Island has a slew of Independence Day celebrations. Even if your city or town isn't holding an event, there's certainly one nearby. South Kingstown celebrates Independence Day with a concert and fireworks on July 4. The party, which is at Old Mountain Field, 875 Kingstown Road, starts at 6 p.m. with music from "Take it to the Bridge." They're described as a "high-energy cover band from Southern Rhode Island playing hits you know and love." But everyone's invited to come early and enjoy the food concessions and the Field of Artisans. The fireworks start around 9 p.m. The $1 donation supports the event. Raffle tickets will also be on sale. Rain date is July 5 at 9 p.m.
