South Kingstown Resident Named Gannon & Scott Senior VP of Administration

David Deuel has joined the Cranston-based refiner and assayer of precious metals as Senior Vice President of Administration.

South Kingstown resident David Deuel has joined Gannon & Scott at the Cranston-based refiner and assayer of precious metals as Senior Vice President of Administration. His responsibilities will include IT and systems to support Gannon’s continued growth. He will be involved in management and financial reporting, cash management and banking relationships.

Deuel has more than 20 years of experience with Fleet National Bank and Bank of America (BofA). His responsibilities included managing credit and trading operations for a bank subsidiary with a $1 billion portfolio. He successfully executed the divestiture of the BofA precious metals unit to Bank of Nova Scotia.

Deuel joined Gannon & Scott from Bank of America where he was SVP and Group Operations Manager with a staff across California, Massachusetts and Florida.

A graduate of URI, Deuel holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification in process design/improvement.
