Truck Crashes Into Wakefield Bowling Alley
A semi truck crashed into Old Mountain Lanes Thursday, causing damage to the building but no serious injuries.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A semi truck crashed into a Wakefield bowling Alley on THursday, causing damage to the back of the building. Only minor injuries were sustained and the bowling alley is open for business on Friday.
Photos from the South Kingstown Union Fire District show the front of a semi truck without a trailer attached after it crashed through the brick wall, making a large hole. Interior photos show the truck hit the back of the building, where the automatic pin setter machinery is located.
According to the fire department, the driver was not seriously injured in the crash and no one inside the building was hurt.

Old Mountain Lanes said Friday that the bowling alley is still open for business.
