Virginia Clare Mullaney, Formerly of Wakefield, Dies at 89

Virginia Clare (Healey) Mullaney, 89, formerly of Wakefield, died on Thursday, July 4, 2013 at South County Hospital. She was the widow of James Patrick Mullaney and preceded in death by her parents, Lola and James Healey, son James F. Mullaney, grandson, Christopher Corkery and sisters Lola Healey, Doris Johns, Jane Macomber, Lois Pelli and Margaret Ferraro. 

Clare is survived by her children Maureen A. Corkery (Neil) of North Kingstown, Katherine Mullaney Wittig (Bill) of Ashland, VA and Richard J. Mullaney of Narragansett and many nieces and nephews. 

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. from the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Burial will follow at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
