Which RI Beaches Are Closed For Friday?
The state health department says eight beaches are unsafe for swimming due to high bacteria counts.

KINGSTON, RI —The state health department says eight beaches are unsafe for swimming due to high bacteria counts. On Thursday, officials recommended closing Conimicut Point beach in Warwick and DiFonso Recreation Area (Spring Grove Beach) in Glocester. Earlier, six beaches were closed for swimming.
They are the following:
- The Beach Club at Larkin’s Pond in Kingston
- Kingston’s Camp
- Camp Hoffman
- Goddard Park
- Kent County YMCA (Upper and Lower Ponds)
- Echo Lake Campground
