Al Southwick’s Celebration of Life - Tuesday Night
At the North Kingstown Town Beach Campus
Happening on Tuesday July 9, 2019 starting at 5:00PM to honor, celebrate, and remember Al Southwick.
In collaboration with North Kingstown Arts Council Tuesday Night Concert featuring the Governor's Own 88th Army Band at the North Kingstown Town Beach Campus (30 Beach St. North Kingstown, RI)

• 5:00 - 7pm Indoors at the Cold Spring Community center there will be a self-guided tour through Al’s collection of memorabilia, photos, and trophies, there will also be a repeating slide show of submitted photos playing inside and outside of the building.
• 5:00 - 7pm Check out of the infamous Blue Busses and reminisce some of the countless memories of Al and the youth in town. It will be parked in the Cold Spring Community Center Parking lot and blasting Al’s most recent famous blue bus tunes.

• 6:30pm Short speaking presentation at the North Kingstown beach band stand.
• 7:00pm “God Bless America” sang by the Governor’s Own 88th Army Band in Al’s honor. This will kick off the Tuesday Night Concert.
• 9:00pm (After the concert) stick around for a Firework performance donated in Al's honor.
To be a part of Al’s Celebration:
• Wear blue, a recreation shirt, or a North Kingstown jersey
• Kids can grab a ring pop from Al on the way in
• Feel free to make a poster for Al to hang on the Blue Bus
Please note:
Once the beach parking lot is full, traffic will be redirected to the Municipal office Building (100 Fairway Drive) as well as the North Kingstown High Schol (150 Fairway Drive)
The shuttle will start at 4:30pm (Watch for the Blue Bus)
