Beach Cleanup Slated For Saturday

The North Kingstown Conservation Commission will be hosting a beach cleanup on Saturday, February 24th.

The North Kingstown Conservation Commission will be hosting a beach cleanup on Saturday, February 24th from 12 - 2PM at Calf Pasture Beach, along Pettee Ave., in North Kingstown, RI 02852

Parking in the Calf Pasture Beach area is limited, so the commission has asked interested participants to car pool to the cleanup site, if possible.

According to the The Town of North Kingstown's Charter, the Conservation Commission exists to "promote and develop the natural resources; to preserve natural aesthetic areas within the Town; and to protect and conserve the environmental quality of the Town."

The Conservation Commission meets regularly, on the second Wednesday of each month.
