Coastal Living Opening, Sound Healing Session

Storytime: Storytime at the Davisville Free Library is held Mondays and Fridays at 10 a.m.

Art Opening at Coastal Living Gallery: Sculptor Tiffany Adams and painter Susan Strauss are exhibiting their work during the month of October at the Coastal Living Gallery, 83 Brown St. Friday is the Artists’ Reception from 6 to 9 p.m.

Sound healing session: Island Heron in Jamestown is holding a sound healing session with SoundScapers. It will be a communal journey to peace, release, and wellness through the practice of sound healing. Bells, chimes, sound bowls, the shruti box, vocal chant, Native American drumming/rattling/prayer, and the didgeridoo be used. From 7 to 9 p.m. $25.

On Saturday …

Harvest Fest at Smith’s Castle: The Castle will come alive at our Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 19 (rain date Sunday, Oct. 20) noon to 4 p.m., like it was "back in the day." Children and adults can enjoy food, music, and vendors. Farmers and Master Gardeners will be on hand to offer advice.
