Get your jingle on tonight with the Lafayette Band

If you're ready for Christmas carols and jingle bells, the Lafayette Band of North Kingstown has what you need tonight (Dec. 6). Starting at 7:15 p.m., the band will perform its annual Wickford Festival of Lights free concert in the First Baptist Church, 34 Main St., Wickford.

Music Director Bethany Clarke Bromley will lead a lively program of traditional and popular holiday music. Band member David Price will present a special reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.

All ages are welcome to the concert, which is made possible by a grant from the North Kingstown Arts Council. Patrons are advised to arrive early, as seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
