Gov. McKee Tours Employee Vaccination Clinic In North Kingstown

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — Gov. Dan McKee toured one of the state's first employee vaccination clinics at General Dynamics Electric Boat in North Kingstown Wednesday.

The employee vaccination site is made possible by the a recent surplus of COVID-19 vaccine doses and McKee's effort to expand vaccine distribution by setting up clinics at schools, businesses, and other organizations.

"We can improve vaccine accessibility by meeting people where they are," said McKee in a Facebook post. "That’s why we’re partnering with businesses and organizations to get their employees vaccinated."

Hundreds of Electric Boat employees were able to receive their first shot on the clinic's opening day, according to the company.
