Hearing On Firefighters Moved To Monday

No Superior Court hearing today: The hearing originally scheduled for today has been consolidated with a motion put forward by the town. Both motions – one by the State Labor Relations Board to force the town to restore former firefighter shifts, the other by the town to “stay” or delay the SLRB’s decision – will now be heard Monday at 11 a.m. before Judge Stern at Kent County Superior Court. Stay tuned.

Town Seeks Snow Removal Applications: Applications for snow removal services for streets and sidewalks in the Town of North Kingstown are now available at the Public Works Facility located at 2050 Davisville Road or on the Public Works page of the Town's website at www.northkingstown.org, click on the highway link. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Return completed application to the Highway Division of Public Works, 2050 Davisville Road, North Kingstown between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. For inquiries, contact the Public Works Office at 401-294-3331, ext. 601.
