The FBI recently released its annual <a href="https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/crime-in-the-u.s/2014/crime-in-the-u.s.-2014/tables/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">"Crime in the United States" report</a>, which includes information about North Kingstown.According to the report, North Kingstown saw 29 violent crimes in 2014. Violent crime includes offenses involving force or the threat of force: murder and non-negligent manslaughter, rape, robbery and aggravated assault, according to the FBI.There was 10 reported rapes, three robberies, and sixteen aggravated assaults in North Kingstown. Other crime stats for North Kingstown include 252 larcenies, 50 burglaries, eight motor vehicle thefts, and two cases of arson. Nationally, violent crime decreased nationally last year by 0.2 percent from 2013, according to the report.
