Lafayette Band returns to the NK bandshell July 14
The free concert will be the first of three consecutive Wednesday night performances at the town beach.

This coming Wednesday, July 14, the Lafayette Band will return to the North Kingstown Town Beach, 10 Beach St., Wickford, to perform a free concert. Band Director Bethany Clarke Bromley will lead a program of patriotic music, classics and popular themes from TV, cinema and theater.
The performance will be the first of three consecutive Wednesday night concerts at the beach. Audience members should bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Admission is free. There is no rain date.
The Lafayette Band is a nonprofit community concert band with a mission to strengthen North Kingstown and surrounding communities through music. Founded more than 135 years ago, it is one of the oldest bands in Rhode Island. Though based in North Kingstown, the band's members reside in many communities in Southeast New England.
