Letter To The Editor: Come To Wednesday WEDAB Meeting
Ellen Waxman encourages everyone to get involved in revitalizing Wickford.

The Wickford Economic Development Advisory board will be holding its second meeting this Wednesday and I invite community members to attend.
It is crystal clear to me the importance of community input to create a shared vision for Wickford's future. At the meeting, the WEDAB will be discussing methods and strategy for public engagement.
As soon as a structure for this is in place, I will ask you to look into the future and describe what Wickford will look like at its best in terms of culture, economy, ecology, and built environment. We have to dream first if we want a chance for our dreams to come true!
Until a shared vision is established, there are things we can and should do that would help Wickford's vitality, this will also be discussed at the meeting. What can we do that requires little or no resources that will produce a tangible result within three to six months? If you have any ideas, in addition to posting here, please submit them to Paige Bronk, North Kingstown Economic Development Manager, by Wednesday, Oct. 2. Email: PBronk@northkingstown.org
Sincerely,
Ellen Waxman, Owner Five Main
WEDAB, Chair
WEDAB meetings are open to the public and the next one will be held at 5:30 on October 2nd, 80 Boston Neck Road, Council Chamber Room, North Kingstown Town Hall
