Man Accused Of Urinating On Amazon Packages To Appear In Court

Investigators say Ivan A. Jimenez of Providence went to the police headquarters on Friday and identified himself.

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — The Amazon delivery driver accused of urinating on packages he delivered has identified himself and is set to appear in court for vandalism, said North Kingstown police in a news release.

Ivan A. Jimenez, 28, of Providence, went to police headquarters on Friday and confirmed he had delivered packages to the address of the resident who filed a complaint with police on Feb. 26, but denied urinating on the packages.

Jimenez was processed and charged with one count of vandalism (misdemeanor). He has been released and is scheduled to be arraigned in Third Division District Court on May 18.
