Missing live music? The Lafayette Band is there for you Sunday

Reminder: The band will perform a free 'Welcome Back' concert at 2 p.m. tomorrow, June 13, at the N.K. Town Beach.

Live music is returning to the North Kingstown Town Beach tomorrow when the Lafayette Band presents a free "Welcome Back" concert, Sunday, June 13, at 2 p.m. The program of patriotic music, classics and popular theme songs will be led by Director Bethany Clarke Bromley.

The N.K. Town Beach is off Route 1A, just south of Wickford village. Audience members should bring lawn chairs and blankets for seating. Face coverings will be optional for anyone who is fully vaccinated, and encouraged for those who are not. There will be no rain date, but the forecast for Sunday is mostly sunny and 75 degrees.

There's also more music to come this summer, as the band will soon announce its weekly concert schedule for July and August. For more information about the band, including photos, video clips and band history, visit lafayettebandri.org or facebook.com/LafayetteBand.RI/.
