NK Town Council Awards $2,000 to Plum Beach Garden Club

Plum Beach Garden Club has been awarded a $2,000 grant from the North Kingstown Town Council. The grant will help defray maintenance costs of the club's many community beautification projects in North Kingstown, including the three traffic islands at the intersection of Route 1 and West Main Street which are considered the “Gateway to Wickford Village,” and in historic Wickford Village, Old Library Park, the garden in the corner of Updike Park, and the Hussey Bridge Garden at the corner of Brown Street.
