NK Youth Lacrosse to Host Tournament in Quonset

North Kingstown Youth Lacrosse

It’s predicted to be an exciting day for NK Youth Lacrosse as the boys’ Division I teams host the Seabees Shootout Tournament in Quonset this Sunday. Three top programs from Massachusetts are traveling to North Kingstown for the event: Longmeadow, Needham, and Concord Carlisle. Representing Rhode Island are NK, East Greenwich, and Portsmouth.

Eighth grader, Sebastian Reid said, “I am looking forward to the Seabees Shootout this Sunday, it is a great opportunity to play clubs from Massachusetts and play the best teams from RI. I think anyone would want to jump on that opportunity if given.”

NK Youth Lacrosse has been expanding on their regular season to include tournaments and out of state travel at the DI level. “I’m excited to try and get better as a team by playing top teams”, said John Rodehorst, sixth grader. Next month, the girls’ 7/8 DI team will be participating in their first North Classic with teams from RI and CT.
